Welcome to Harrison:

The City Council and myself welcome you to the City of Harrison, now or at sometime in the future and hope you enjoy yourselves.

The Harrison Area provides for many recreational opportunities:

• Camping in Wilson State Park

• Hunting for mushrooms in May

• Canoe the Muskegon River

• Fish for trout in the Cedar or Clam River and Little Long Lake

• Enjoy our Independence Day Celebration

• Enjoy the Clare County Fair

• Enjoy the autumn color, bird, and deer hunting

• Ride the many ORV and Snowmobile trails

• Join the fun at the annual Frost Bite Open

The City Council of Harrison and the Harrison Chamber of Commerce are working closely together to assure the best vacations for our visitors. Our City Park System, along with Budd Lake, Little Long Lake, Wilson State Park, and the Clare County Fairgrounds, all within the city limits, offer unique opportunities to residents and vacationers alike.
