4th Chamber Swing June 16th @ The Tamarack’s Golf Course.
9 holes of golf, 2-person scramble, CASH PRIZES, door prizes,
Box lunches, 50/50 raffle and raffling a Wooden Swing donated by
KYLE’S MFG. CO. After golfing; join us for snacks and dancing
under the stars to music by BEST ENTERTAINMENT and Business
After Hours ...sponsored by THE TAMARACK’S GOLF COURSE. Cost:
$25.00 per person before June 14th, $30.00 per person after June

Golf Tournament At the Firefly Golf Course June 23rd
A ladies tournament to benefit MID MICHIGAN HOSPICE for patient
care in Clare County. 8:30 am shotgun start and $50.00 per
person. Call 386-3510 for more information. Lots of prize $$
to win!!

24th Budd Lake Fishing Derby June 17th 6:00am—2:00pm
Fish on Budd Lake for prizes galore!!! Prizes include $1,000.00
for the largest legal Muskie (one was caught last year in 2005)
as well as prize money for bass and strings of fish! If you are
not interested in fishing but would like to get involved, we are
still looking for volunteers to help the day of the derby. Call
the Chamber Office for registration forms or to volunteer.

Memorial Day Car Show...A
HUGE thank-you goes out to Joanne and Marty Bucholz!!! They did

Show. The town really loved the burn-out Saturday night. The

Harrison Community Days...September
2nd @ the Harrison City Park. This will be the 2nd year for
this community event. Mark your calendar so you don’t forget
the date. There will be a race sponsored by the Harrison
Cross-Country team, games for kids of all ages, eating contests,
basketball and horseshoe tournaments and so much more.
CRAFTERS get ready, there will be a craft show held at this
event too! To end the great event, we will hold a battle of the

the stands and all that comes with it. It will cost you .08-.10
cents to make a cup of lemonade and you can sell each cup for

Harrison’s 4th of July celebration...
|

July 3rd—we
will start with the Demolition Derby @ 7:00 pm. Tickets will be
sold only the night of the derby. Admission cost to enter the
derby and watch will be $10.00 adults and $5.00 for kids. The
fireworks will be at dusk right after the derby. Then on the
4th of July;
we will have the parade downtown business 127 beginning at
1:00pm. The theme for the |
parade this year will be NURSERY RHYTHMS and if you and your
would like to enter the parade please call the

Chamber office to register. There is no cost to enter. Float
line up will begin at 10:30 am and walkers please be there by
NOON. Let’s all get involved and enjoy everyone’s hard work!

New cottage at the Snug Haven Lakeside Resort is now open! “The
Nest” is the new cottages name. It’s a 2-story cottages that
are handi-capped-accessible. They are offering pre-season
discounts on all cottages until for seniors (55 and older) and

The Chamber office now has been really fixed up! Painted the
ceiling, new walls, getting some new furniture, new carpet and
new brochure and business card holders. Stop by and see our
